EduTech and TIE are excited to invite superintendents and principals to attend the Customized Learning Awareness Event. Customized Learning Awareness attendees will gain knowledge about customized learning and the processes necessary to move a district down the customized learning path. Customized Learning is a technologically empowered, learner focused alternative. What if every day, every learner was met with customized learning experiences at precise developmental and achievement levels, was learning in the most effective learning style with content of interest, was challenged, was successful and left school eager to come back tomorrow? This is not only possible with today’s technologies it is inevitable. Industry has figured out how to mass customize products and services, education is poised for this leap.

The Customized Learning Structural Rebuild Process utilizes evidence-based materials and processes for your district/building planning team to tackle the tough issues of weight-bearing-walls which can hinder progress toward personalized learning.

TIE has developed a series of tools to help schools move forward with customized learning. While many of these tools have been developed for schools involved in a Bush Foundation grant, most are available to other schools via the web.

Let’s explore growth mindset in the classroom, examples that can be used with students and share ways to build an “everyone can learn” culture.

EduTech and TIE are excited to invite district planning teams to attend the Customized Learning Planning Team Event. Customized Learning Planning Team attendees will gain knowledge about customized learning and the processes necessary to move a district down the customized learning path. Attendees will discuss possible barriers, the importance of learner agency and mindsets. Leave ready to to lead the customized learning process  in your district.

A learner-centered focus is at the core of customized learning. Such a focus reflects the fundamental belief that learners are better equipped and prepared for a lifetime of learning if decisions regarding teaching and learning are based on data and considerations about the individual learner—rather than the tradition and administrative convenience of the assembly line school.
